CO... (hopefully last one) The last 1 1/2 months we lived at our residence (after 4 yrs tenancy)the landlord surprised us with wanting to sell the house. The realty company allowed any and all realtors to enter our home without any prior notice. We were told by Landlord we could not request time frame and 24 hr notice for people entering our home. We demanded 24 hr notice almost every day and recieved it maybe 3 times. Are there any rights we have to have Realty co. investigated and landlord responsible for our "quiet and happy privacy" taken away while we lived at premesis?

Unless you have a lease then shut up or the landlord will give you a 30 day notice Tomorrow to be out by June 30th.. With a lease which gets tranfered to the new owner...you can always throw dirty clothes next to the front door or a kids bike, skates ...hint hint...

When you were first notified that property was on the market, you, landlord and Realtor should have made some agreements. You should have agreed to showings anytime you would not be home - during the day while you were at work 10 to 3 - in exchange for them not showing Sat PM or all day Sunday....by working out a win-win, you all could have weathered this situation a lot better. Since you allowed it to happen, I doubt you would get any compensation.

We tried to work out a "win win" situation. We were not notified that the house was on the market. The day we found out was the day a realtor called to show the place. Finally when we tried to work with them they said yes we will give you 24 hr notice and not come any later than 6 pm. We even said just give us prior day notice to show the house instead of the proper 24 hr notice. We had people showing up til 8 pm and we ended up turning them away thus receiving rude calls from the realty company. The landlord never had anything to do with us. He just sent the reatly company to do the dirty work.

Dj1.. you are funny! Is BOZO a technical term used by NY slum? Like I have said.. if you wouldnt be so quick to lash out at perfect strangers for your lack in maturity and know it all status.. then you would know from other posts you have responded to.. that I have stated that the landlord does not have to have a reason to give us a notice to quit if we have no lease. He could just say I am done with you. But what my idiot landlord failed to check on before he became a landlord is that there are some rules and laws to take into consideration before just serving a notice to quit with short notice. And we were given 17 days to move out. not even the 30 days you ramble about!
